Hello Crafters,

It has been a long couple of weeks for me as I was very sick, but thanks to all the prayers and good hands of the doctors I am back on the move again.  Will take a few weeks of lots of rest but I can do that and create also right.  I wanted to create a card for the Challenge over at:, this Challenge was to use black and white with dimension and scollops.  This is what I created.

I used a 6 x 12 piece of back card stock scored at 4 and 10 on each side of the front of the card I made double scollops half way down on each side and used the flower to help seal the front bottom. I used score tape to seal the bottom and added background using a stencil and gelatos to make the background of leaves.
I have to say I have had my gelatos for ages -my dear friend Dar told me about them and how great they were so of course I had to buy them. I wasn't as in love with them as she was until yesterday when I decided to try them on this card.  Now I love them too. The leaves turned out awesome. I added a scollop made from a Martha Stewart punch and added my embellishments and the sentiment inside. Can you see the little butterfly. Maybe on the other pics.

Twisted Easel Card

Good Evening Crafters,

I was rearranging my clutter of paper today and ran across the paper I decided to do this Challenge with.
The Challenge over at : is make an twisted easel card using pattern paper and something that can be purchased at I really like this card because it is so quick yet versatile and fun -Thanks Gretchen.

This is the card all made up - I chose this beach/sea paper because of course everyone is wanting to go to the beach. I also had a couple of die's I just had to have and of course never used until tonight. This is a fun card not a fancy, frilly one. I do know a couple of beach lovers who will enjoy this card.

Products:  "Bo Bunny" - Beach/Seal paper collection from years ago (really)
Stationer Desk (32) - Crystals (on the sun hat)
Glossy Accents - Surf board - doesn't show up good in the pic
Joy Die - 6002-0176 Beach hat
                 Memory Box -  turtle boarder
Embellishments of little sea creatures are from stash
                Perfect Pearls - Pearl Mist
Just a better shot of the turtles

Flaming June

Good Rainy Day Monday,

I can't remember ever seeing two many Challenges that say use ORANGE except at Halloween so I wanted to try my had this because I loved the picture so vibrant yet so vintage. Vintage is my favorite but never thought bright so this is the creation I came up with the the Challenge over at:  Hope you like it.

This is the front of the card - I have a few move shots to show you different aspects of this card below.

This is a list of the products I used:  Three different colors of Orange card stock, the frame around the picture is actually Bright Gold (here it looks green). The tassel so reminds me of the era of the picture.
Love the way the flower turned out bright orange using two different mediums to create it. Do you see the secrete pockets, you will in a later picture. There were lots of secrete passages, pockets etc from the era as well and I love adding them to a card for hidden notes, pictures, etc.
Products used:  The Sentiment (inside) is from Stamp It Australia "Once in a lifetime"
                         Jumbo lace self adhesive ribbon.
                         Martha Stewart edge punch
                         Washi Tape - Gold
Adirondack Paint - Sunset Orange and Citrus Green
                          Versafine - black ink
                           Marianne - LRD370 and CR1245 364
                           Nellie's Vintage Photo
Cheery Lynn DL 245 Ambergris Tiny Doily
                                                B1175 Mini Fanciful Flourish
                           Magnolia Gold emblishments
                           Teri-riffic tape
Inside for the Sentiment because the picture reminded me of day dreaming unfortunately gone bad but nothing wrong with day dreams.
Hidden pocket on the left of the picture - perfect for note, picture etc.
Hidden pocket on the right side behind the second layer of the card.
