Oh well I have to tell you I went away Friday night and Saturday. I stayed at an INN and it was awesome, don't know how it feels to be a Queen but the way they made me feel Friday/Saturday morning I sure felt like a queen.  I went to a card class/get together on Saturday and it was lots of fun, wonderful people, good food. Well that is why I had to get home and work hard to get a few cards done for my favorite challenges.  This card I did for:, Card to be Neutral colors, use a picture, and a fancy corner flourish, and something purchased at : Joans Garden. This is want I eked out.

The picture must be too bright but there are two layers of homemade card stock on top of the Beach color card stock, homemade card stock I embossed, I used pinking shears on all edges and added the picture with the embellishments. Oval Glitz

Hello Crafters,

What a week I have been sick with a cold/flu still bad weather but I still wanted to make a card for the Challenge for:
I recently received a very cool die that is so easy to work with and wanted to use it again. Hope you like!

Love glitter and embossing powder and thought this was pretty neat.  I used bits and pieces from several SNS stamp sets along with the new Medallions set #182. I see beautiful bloom in this medallion. The card it's self is cut with the new Elizabeth Craft Design Die "Accordion Oval Card # 772". I used a piece of card stock from Heartfelt Creations posy patch collection. Love the stitch look the die leaves and all you have to do is lightly sand it.  I used the following products to finish this creation.

Elizabeth Craft Design Die "Accordion Oval Card #772
Memento Inks - New Sprout
                         Sweet Plum
                         Rhubarb stalk
Sprinkle N Sparkle:  Stamp set # 182 Medallions
                                               #392 - Dani's garden umbrella
                                              #393 - Dani's garden swing
                              Glitter:  Eggplant G1066
                                          Gypsy Red GM2005
                              Embossing Powder: Marquis Orange #373

                                                             Spring Willow #388
Goose bumps - Orange, Red, and purple
Art Glitter - Duck Tail # 178
Think I listed everything.

This is what the card looks like when it is folded. So simple and cute. Just in case you can't tell the upper right corner is a green  Dragon Fly, lower right corner is a Bumble Bee

Hello Crafters,

I hope all is well with all of you. I have had a really bad cold all week, awful weather Tuesday night into Wednesday and almost to sick to do any Challenges but last night I decided to beat the cold and create. Remember I was sick. HA - One thing for sure my camera doesn't understand color. The Challenge over at: is: Use Peach and Teal (blue/green) butterflies layered, and something sold at Joans Garden.  All is covered except my camera thinks peach is orange and teal is dark blue.

You see what I mean - anyway I used teal card stock for base cut large doily which covers half the front and half the back of the card. Added some chipboard embellishments that I added Peach ribbon behind or used glitter on edges. Sentiment is Graphic 45 and added my layered butterflies on their own little doily. I added Diamond Dust to the peach butterfly parts and pearls.

Cherry Lynn - Die DL243 Felicity Tiny doily
                            DL158 Mega Tea party Die
Spellbinders LF006 Butterflies
Twinklets Diamond Dust #600
Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments Collection
Kaiser Pearls - Teal and Peach
Art glitter - 229 Cosmos  (edges of small chipboard butterflies)

Tri Card

Hello Crafters,

I received my much need care package (products I purchased from Joan's Garden) today and was so excited to work with some of the products.  I decided to use the Challenge theme from

This is the card I made with the new Elizabeth Craft Design Accordion Oval Card #772. This is a must  have Die set it cuts so many pieces that all work together so well and you can do so may thing with it.  I made the Tri - card but you can make single cards, albums just so much. Make sure to go to Joans Garden and get yours. I love the way the edging looked like it has been stitched. Left side was embossed with a cuttle bug embossing folder, and built with pieces from the first die cut. Center I added a backing of paper from Graphic 45 with the pieces from the second die cut and the third die cut was embossed with a sizzix embossing folder and brayered with white for the silhouette. Corners are a new Marianne set of dies, the fit so perfectly. Yes I am still in the glitter stage so I did glitter several areas. I gave the silhouette a pearl necklace. These pieces went together to fast and easy.

Products used:  Graphic 45 card stock Couture Collection
White and green 80# card stock
                        Marianne Corner - LRO285
                        Cuttlebug embossing folder - flower

Go Green w/Susan

Hello Crafters,

I created another card and thought I would share with you today.  This card is for the Challenge over at: and  The Challenge was to use Green and White, Oval, and embossing folder (option - color one side of Embossing folder) and something sold at Joan Garden. At CCS you had to use a Susan's Garden flower and something sold at the OLS. The embossing color folder has always been a real challenge for me but decided to try and I really do like the out come this time.

I have had this Cuttlebug  embossing folder for a while and never really used it and I love all the flourish so I brayered the inside top with TH Distress Ink "Mowed Lawn" laid the card inside and ran through the eBosser.  Believe it or not I loved the first try. It just has a different finish and almost weathered look.
Anyway I put glitter on all the flourished that had been raised from the embossing and then added an oval
cut from clear card stock over the top center after encircling with they tiny flower ribbon. I just noticed they almost look gray in the pic but they are really green with white pearl centers. I made a Susan's Garden flower for center bottom and added to the card.

Products used: Flower: Vellum card stock for flower
Viva white pearl pen to color petals
Tim Holtz - Mowed Lawn distress ink for leaves
Pollen from Susan's Garden - Yellow and Orange
Card:  Marianne - Floral Corner for the white leaves and tiny flowers
Heartfelt Creations for the dark green leaves
                                 Glitter Ritz - Microfine white
                                 Wrights - green flower ribbon
                                 Cuttlebug embossing folder
                                 Clear card stock - Oval

Hello Crafters,

I made this card for a challenge using a Susan's Garden flower. I have a couple of  her flower kits, but really have never succeeded in making one so last night I sat and decided I was going to do it.  this is the card I made using Susan's Garden flower "Helleborus".

I tried to keep the card simple and sweet .... OK I used a piece of card stock from the HFC Posy Patch paper collection as the background, and the opposite side for the die cut Decorative leafy frame. Yellow and cream card stock for flowers. I know my Susan's Garden flower looks somewhat different from Susan's I think I got close for a first time.
Products used: Heartfelt Creations - Decorative Leafy Frame HCD 731 (sold on line store at CCNS)
Vintage Floret HCD 727 - yellow flowers

                                                  Pollen - Red T4647

Good Morning Crafters,

Wanted to get my card posted for this weeks challenge.  I lifted ideas from several crafters I love to follow and tried my on hand, the following is what I ended up with and for once I really like the outcome. No I am not patting myself on the back just happy to accomplish what I set out to do.  Have a great week.

I was trying for a vintage look (color),center being the flowers, and wanted some texture.
I started with rusty orange card stock, added wall paper tape, all the paper is from the Basic Grey curio collection.  I distressed the back layer of paper and added gesso.  Added next layer across the bottom adding a piece of lace to the top edge (oops you can't see it very good in pic.) which I colored from white to Brushed corduroy with TH distress ink.  Made the flowers and added all the embellishments I made.
The flowers and buds were made using the HFC tattered blossom and colored with TH rusty hinge. Leaves are from various dies listed below. Note: I love how you can use so many different companies products and come out with a treasure.
