Summer Heat

Hello Crafters,

I wanted to try the Challenge over at the Frilly & Funkie this week as I go there often but have only entered a couple of times.  I had family in from La. this past weekend and got to thinking about how often I create cards based on Adult level - Fancy flowers, guy theme, never much on girls, teens etc. so I was feeling crazy summery with the theme and decided to create something I knew my niece would like. Hope you like it as well. Challenge:  http://frillyandfunkie.blogspot.com/ Summer Heat (use red, orange sunshine yellow summer bloom vintage style). This is my creation

Funkie chunky fun:  I love mixing dies, colors etc. I love the sun stencil from Sizzix and using embossing paste for depth so that is how I made the sun. started adding different mediums for sky background and dimensional elements for ground grass etc.
