Hello Crafters,

Time for the weekly challenge over at: This week was post up to 3 cards,
use 3 layered flowers, floral  background, a doily and something purchased at  I do believe I have covered all that plus......Hope you like!

I really think I need a class in photography these pics are terrible but today this is all I have.

This Card doesn't open it's just a pocket and the bottom is sealed so the insert doesn't fall through.
I used brown card stock as a base - then added the Heartfelt Creations "Sun Kissed Collection" card stock.
I loved the way the orange, brown and blue  went with the greenery.  The blue and brown ribbon crossed the back and down each side of the front to the end of the little florets which met at the edge of the doily.
I created the flowers using Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur stamp and die, coloring with Tim Holtz distress markers Rusty Hinge, smokey sky.

All products used:  HFC - Sun Kissed Paper Collection
Leaves HCPC 3546 from Classic leaf set
Flowers HCPC 3533 and Die from the Sun Kissed Fleur
Tim Holtz:  Distress Inks and markers - peeled paint, spiced marmalade, rusty hinge,
smokey sky also his embossing powder "Spiced Marmalade
Just Rite Sentiment: Seeds of Summer CR03755
Art Glitter - Seashell glitter, and the center of the flower
                            Marianne LR0144 - Corners
Cheery Lynn - Doily D155 - Scandinavian Hearts
This is a view of the insert - Love the verse and the highlight of the blue side of the Sun kissed paper for the corners.

A close up of the three flower that are layers - oops and my little lady bug I learned how to make when visiting Joan at Well crafters that's my card for this week. I have got to get cracking on a new project. Have a great week.

Hello Crafters,

I was asked by a gentleman to make a keepsake box for his sisters new baby from a old cigar box he had given me.  This was a challenge for me because I had to get the cigar smell out and then make it.  I wound up painting the inside and outside of the box to eliminate the order. This is how it turned out:

This is the top of the box after painting it pink (baby is a girl - her name is Ashlynn)  I added card stock
bling, flowers, doily, butterfly ,her name and put lace around the edges.

This is a view of the side both the same a different card stock and the lacy ribbon

View of the inside lid  - butterfly corners - stork bringing in Ashlynn and her little feet

Inside view of the bottom of the cigar box card stock sides, felt bottom keepsake see thru container and small bags for first's, tooth, lock of hair etc.

Thought I had a picture of the front but you can see I had put what little girls are made of on the front .
I gave it to him today and he along with others who saw it loved it.  That is what makes me happy - making something others will enjoy........ If you want more detail please leave me a note and I will try to answer your questions.

Hello Crafters,

Time again for my card in Joans Challenge.  I have lost the charger for my camera battery so this pic is from my phone - Yuck for color and clarity but I wanted to get it posted.  Time is just flying by.  Anyway: The challenge is Pastel peach, green and white colors, use layered flower, fancy corner and a heart, also product purchased from

Products used to create the card:

Corrugated white card-stock - Joanns
Pastel Peach  and green card-stock -stash
Heart Felt Creations - Tattered blossoms stamp HCPC 3468 and HCD 722 - Die - Joans Garden
Classic leaf stamp - HCPC 3546 and HCD 736 - Die - Joans Garden
Art Anthology paint - Pickle color on leaves - Craft Class given by Jen
Cheery Lynn B 205 Die - Butterfly "In" - Joans Garden (this is my fancy corner) Joans Garden
Spellbinders Die S4-136 Hearts - Joans Garden
Just Rite - Family Garden CL-02145 (Flourish on hearts) - Joans Garden

I cut the corner out twice so I could use the butterfly in layers and vellum card stock to go behind the top layer. The hears were popped as well . In the picture you can't see the bud very well but I think it turned out pretty good and I made it from the smallest die for the tattered blossoms. Always trying something new.
