http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2013/03/this-weeks-challenge_28.html

Well after posting it was to late but I wish I had not put the cat on - for some reason it look a little mean at least the way I have it. Oh well we will just pretend we don't see it. HA-HA
Any way : The products I used were all from Joans Garden my favorite one stop shop from home as well as getting out.

Paper background is from the Heartfelt Creation "Sunny Days" collection the watering can in the center is printed on the paper I just love their paper.
The flowers were made using "Cheery Lynn" - BAF1 and BAF2 B188 with the Kaiser pearls for centers as well as Mambi Stones.
I used CL Tiny things B266 for the Butterfly and the dragon fly on the handle of the water can.I also used the CH Mini Fanciful flourish B1175, Leaf strip B178.
Behind the flowers is The ornamental gate B196 cut from gray card stock
The cat is a Poppy stamp cat 871 -she was made from fuzzy card stock spritzed with Dylusions ink spray-pure sunshine and black. I used green card stock with Glitter "Lily of Valley" yellow Art glitter, wings from yellow card stock.  I think that is all I used. Don't need a lot with the paper and dies.

Hello Crafters,

Challenge at Joans Garden week # 11: Use a square - alter something even a card - flower paper
Wasn't sure what to alter, and not sure this is right but here goes:

http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2013/03/this-weeks-challenge_21.html

I love making flowers from card stock, vellum, material just about anything. I started looking in my stash for
stuff - hum - I found something I had purchased so many years ago I knew it couldn't still be go or even on the market and I used it. As usual the flowers on my square look much better in real but to me they are cool.

Products used:  Spellbinders - Marvelous Squares S4-383 backed by Yellow and lavender card stock
Graphic 45 - Paper is from the "Secreat Garden collection"
Cheery Lynn - Tiny things (butterfly) B266 & Fancy lace corners #1 B114 backed with yellow card stock.
Perfect Pearl - Mist White which you can't really see in the pic. on the square
                        Kaiser Pearls - Lavender (dark)
Just Rite - Sentiment from CR04346
Tim Holtz - Distress stain "squeezed lemonade and mowed lawn" with seedless preserves and spiced marmalade markers.
Flower brads and ribbon are from stash
                        Sizzix stencil - flower
Dreamweaver stencil embossing paste(the flowers are made from this)

I added the two stains to two  small amounts of the paste. Taped the stencil down to the square and spread the lemonade over the stencil for the flower and mowed lawn for the leaves, spread evenly on the stencil with the spatula and then immediately took the stencil off and washed it and tools while the paste dried about an hour.  With the markers I touched up edges and center to give them a real look and they turned out so nice. Feel like velvet when you touch them and are about 1/8" thick. This was altering for me. I took the idea from the card Joan made and I loved it so much I had to try something like that but I didn't have the same supplies. Oh the paper, pearls, Cheery Lynn, Tim Holtz Spellbinders  and Just Rite items all came from Joans Garden,

Hello crafters,

WOW, what a change for Joans Garden, this week - What fun - Challenge 10 - Black and white card, use embossing folder, flowers, pearls, lace and something purchased from Joan Garden. This is my creation for this Challenge.

http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2013/03/something-new-for-this-weeks-challenge.html

This is the front of my card - there will pictures below of the back side and inside. This card was created using a 12" piece of black card stock. Left side folded forward 3" and right side folded back three inches.
Sides were embossed and center was covered with a large patterned floral piece of paper on both sides.
Center was cut out Oval shaped and was created with two different size ovals each oval one side white and one side black card stock then attached to the Center cut out so it would swirl as it sits with opposite ovals showing as you can see above to contrast black and white. Large pearls and small pears used. Edges of left and right side decorated with lace. Flowers and corner added where needed on front, inside front, inside back and back side of card.

Hello fellow crafter's,

I have created a card for Joans Garden Challenge this week - I believe she said a garden scene so I wanted something easy but elegant.  Well easy it was & elegant I believe because of Graphic 45. You decide for your self what you think.

http://www.atjoansgardens.com/2013/03/this-weeks-challenge.html

This is the front of the card but you must see the rest!

Inside of card - 4 pockets to hold the beautiful cards  there are two outside and two inside pockets
to show you how the go on the inside - lots of room to write sentiments on the back of each card.

This is the back of the card -

List of products:   Graphic 45 brand new "Secret Garden" collection 480649
                            Brads and ribbon from stash
                            Pop dots
                            liquid glass
That's it I fuzzy cut and popped up on front and inside
Oh yes I also used a little glitter on the swirl on front but it doesn't show up much.

Remember Graphic 45 is always at Joans Garden - I think the paper by it's self makes a great card.

I thought since I had the colors and JustRite stamps out I would use the paper up and I had an idea:
Simple Elegance is the name of this card -

http://memaw-backporchcraftsbyjudy.blogspot.com/2013/03/challenge-for-just-rite-using-colors.html

As you can see the light got in the way the whole card , to bright on left and shadowed on right. But the card
is Light and Dark Grey and Bright Yellow with green.

Products used: JustRite Stamps: Hugs and Kisses Sentiment -CR04340 and Cast all your Cares - CR03630
                       Ranger Adirondack Slate stamp pad
                       Kaiser Pearls - Yellow
Tim Holtz - Distressed Markers - Peeled Paint and Mustard Seed
Old broach - Mom's old sewing box
I left the inside blank so I can add appropriate Sentiment when I decide to send this card.
I love the JustRite Stamps because the different stamp sets can be used together.
