Afternoon bloggers

This day turned out to be a beautiful sunny day here, I am always grateful for a nice sunny day when I am off work. This week over at http://www.atjoansgardens.com/ the Challenge was: You can make 4 cards, Use something purchased from http://www.atjoansgardens.com/, White and Gold for colors, use an embossing folder and pearls. This is the first card I made.

http://www.atjoansgardens.com/,

I embossed this Christmas tree to the front of a 6-1/2 x 5-1/2 white card colored certain areas I colored with my uniball gold pen, the stand was colored with pearl pen (gold) snowflakes were made with polor white flower soft.  Lanterns and flourish cut from cold card stock and lanterns backed with vellum. ribbon bows added to lanterns. Pearls were placed on the tree and bottom of card trimmed with lace.

This is a close up of top left of card so you can see lantern, bow and part of the tree better.

This is what I put on the inside of the card edges of doily edged in queens gold and sentiment, bells and bow also embossed with queens gold, pearls added.
