Hello All,

I have to say I had a wonderful time at Joan's Garden Saturday. I love going because I not only meet new crafter's I always learn something new. I decided to give it another try on this weeks card because I wanted to try TH markers using the water tech. You will see I need lots of practice but I am trying. Also becoming very spoiled to die cuts and stamping for someone who can't stay in the lines well...... Ok, this is my second take but want to say all of the cards posted are really cool.

Card was embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder "Polka Dot"
Lattice -is the HCPC 3396 Bella Rose Stamp
Frame - DL 130 Dutch Doily  Rectangle
Bird - is from Penny Black "Nature Best stamp set"
Roses are on the Bella Rose stamp but I pop the large one and added
Fern from Marianne 98341"Delicate Fern" Die
Thanks - punched from Sizzix "Rat-a-tat" alphabet in white card stock
used Peeled Paint Distress ink with an Inkadinkado flourish to stamp branches
on the letters, put them on circles cut from the same paper (Kaiser-Garden Arabesque P397)
and popped up every other letter.
Kaiser Pearls - Love the brown ones I got at Joan's Saturday.

Hello All,

Wow where does the time go. I should have been in bed hours ago but no I have to many things to do. Ha-Ha - Anyway I had been working on this weeks challenge for Joan's Garden and wanted to get it posted before I went to bed. So here goes.

Have to say I didn't go to far from what Selma did but this is my take:
I used a sheet of purple pattern card stock from Kaiser Crafts,
The lattice is Cheery Lynn Frame A2 # 115,
Frame is a Marianne Frame for which I didn't write down the # - but I did get it at Joan's (as I get most every thing from Joan's Garden).
Greenery is B117s Mini fanciful flourish -three of them
Flower and leaves are from the new Build a flower set #1 B181 set #2 B187 and the embellishments B188
I used a beautiful Yellow Kaiser Pearl for the center.
Bird is from Inkadinkado embossed in black on yellow card stock and a hint of orange.
Sentiment is from my old sizzix alphabet set "Hearts"

Hello again,

I said this Challenge was fun so while I had everything out I made another card so here goes

This was fun to make as well -
Products used: Cuttlebug embossing folder - Polka Dots
LaBlanche Stamp (don't have the # it is the back ground of tree, music and bell)
Marianne -Deer (again I don't have the #) so sorry
                        EK Success - Snow Flakes
Stickles - White sparkle - Frosted lace (Deer)
                        White lace decoration trim
                         Kaiser - white pearl
                         Sheer Ribbon
I embossed the card, then made it appear as a package wrapped with the shear ribbon.Made a center piece with the LaBlanche Stamp, using the versa mark stamp pad and Sea foam white embossing powder. Trimmed the center piece with the lace trim, added the deer and some large snow flakes. The card is boarded with snow flakes and some of the Polka Dots are stickled with the white sparkle . Hope you like the whites.

This is a little different angle so you can see the LaBlanche Stamp a little better.

Hello All,

Another wonderful rainy day - I think my grass will be ok but the flowers are a done deal - Well since it rained all day and I didn't have to run around after work I stepped out of my box and made another card for Joan's 29th challenge with (BLING).

I used a new embossing folder I found while looking for something else - Music Notes from The Paper Studio just in time for this card with the green card stock as background.
Frame - Cheery Lynn Dutch Doily Rectangle DL130 in purple
Block in center is from Inkadinkado and the Hummingbird as well
I used stickles on the flower and thanks word -glitter pens for the leaves
Chalked the background with pruple
I made the big flower with a very large gemstone brad

Close up to see the music notes and stickling on the humming bird, flower and thanks -purple gemstones
in the corners of the center block
Close up of the flower of many layers and to see the gem stones in each corner
Well that's my rainy day challenge.
