Hello All,

This was one of the most awesome days - yes it was chilly, windy, rainy, and all around day for -Hanging with awesome people doing your favorite hobby! You guessed it.....I was a Joans Garden for her class. There were some new attendees, and we ole usual crafters.  We were all anxious  to learn something new,  which we did with some really cool techniques, getting to know each other, and having a really cool "Tea Party" crafter style.   If you live in the area and don't attend one of Joans classes you are really missing out on a great day of fun, fellowship, learning......OK so I am still excited - can't wait to use some of the new products, but before I can I had to finish the card I had already started for this weeks Challenge  #37.

Create a card with 3 narrow strips
Use a Square
Use Black and white
Use Polka dots
Use flowers

This was my take-

My 3 narrow strips turned into 2 narrow and 1 a little larger
My square is unfortunately hard to see but it is Part of the Marianne Design LR0234 under the flower.
Yes it really is black and white - (picture is yuck)
Polka Dots - (They are everywhere) Back ground (Card) was embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folder"Polka Dots"), the three strips were run through the same embossing folder along with my unique leaves made from Poppy Stamps "Lorelei leaves outline #839 and solid #840.
Flower made from Heartfelt Creations HCD722 with a large pearl for center.
Large Leaves & ferns were punched with Punch a bunch -punch and worked with the flower tools from tool kit.
I used Martha Stewart boarder punches for black strips and Cheery Lynn Corners B165.

What I love about all this is you can use several companies materials to make some great cards. All the above purchased at Joans. The paper for flower was from a stack in the stash.
