Challenge-Christmas Card - 2
I was putting things away and had an idea so I worked on it and thought I would add to the challenge!
This is a 6 x 6 card I used the Sizzix embossing folder "Chandler" used the Cheery Lynn Doily Die DL104 cut from Red card stock and cut into 4 pieces for the corners, The bells, and sentiment are Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3424. The bells were embossed on silver card stock and embossed with Ranger "Glass Blue" then pop dotted to the card - I colored the lights on the chandler with yellow sepia glitter pen, and I distressed the edges of the sentiment card before pop dotting.

Challenge-Christmas Card

Good evening,
Want to get my card in for the challenge so here goes:

I love the dies and stamps on this card:  I used Martha Stewart boarder for the bottom layers -paper is red glitter, tree die is Cheery Lyn X-Tree DL142, Angel from Heartfelt Creations "Elegant Angels HCPC 3425" the small dished candles on the tree are from River City Rubber, and the sentiment is from the Same Elegant Angels set -it was embossed using Ranger "rich red" and Irish spring green together. I used "at you Spica" glitter pens Blue, yellow and green for the candles and parts of the Angel. Corners are Christmas bulbs. The tree is pop dotted all the way up so it looks like different levels for the "real" effect.

Shadow box

Good Evening Ladies,

I have been so busy this weekend - I went to a retreat and it was so much fun, great food, great people, and made new friends, and did I say great food. LOL.  I also accomplished something I think is really cool -
I made my version of the "TH" shadow box, of course pics don't do justice and I hate to tell you how long it took me but I am mass producing and after the first one they all went a lot faster. Any way I wanted to share it so here are the pics and if you ever want to see they real thing stop on by.
Some of the items I bought some of them I made-I used Tim Holtz shadow box, tissue paper, hardware, I used Quick Kutz  to make the stocking, ginger bread scene, and graphic 45 paper. Some rub-ons as well.
I also use Adirondack gold paint dabber for the color.

The back is graphic printed card stock
Well that's it hope you like - I think they will make great gifts. Now to get busy on the Challenge

White Elephant

Wow, can't believe it has been so long, I have been really busy and well time flies.
I have been getting ready for my weekend away and so excited about it.  I am going to
a scrapbook retreat and there is going to be a "white elephant" thing (which I have never done before)
but thought I would join in so I made this box for my present and thought I would share the box:

Found a small box around the house and used white bristol board to cover it -I wrapped
the bottom sides with a wide ribbon (brown leaves) stickled  around the top edges with copper color
added a button to use as a knob to lift lid. As you can see I love layers and the little elephant has plenty.
I used a flourish stamp and used more stickles. Little different, but it was fun and hopefully the person who
winds up with it can use it for something. I also stamped a line of elephants on all the flaps. To cute!

Yes the "White Elephant" is embossed with Platinum embossing powder and glittered for brightness,
and SHE has sexy pink toes and blue eyes. LOL. Sorry I can't share the's a secret.

If the projects I work on this weekend turn out I will share them when I get home. Have a great weekend
and enjoy the weather.

Challenge-Bag 2

Good Morning Crafters,

The weather was so good for my vacation I decided to take one more day - I will be sorry when it's cold out and I wish I could stay home but here I am.  Joan's bag challenge really got my creativity going and as I was watching a few of my favorite TV shows, I started working on another bag - thought I would share it with you as well.
A side view allows you to really see the embossing on the back ground, and the stickled leaves better

I really enjoyed making this bag because I love Fall - the steps of this bag and supplies are:
Distress Ink around edges of bag are T.Holtz, Rusty Hinge and Peeled Paint (doesn't show real well in pics)
Back ground paper is from the Kaiser Craft collection "Country Grove" and I have cut a vertical piece for body, embossed with "Sprinkle N Sparkle" embossing powders, in Marque Orange and Spring Willow. The horizontal as contrast for the topper which is punched with a M.Stewart's boarder punch. The center piece is punched from the Marvy scolloped ovel large. I punched the orange after embossing the pumpkin using same powders as background and then added for shadow effect a green and tan punch to the back and pop dotted.
The leaves are of course from "Cheery Lynn" Lg leaves #2 and the "Heartfelt Creations "Belle Rose HCD 712 Collection.  I just love the flowers and acrons, I did use stickles  after I had added texture color from the Adirondack-Dabbers: Gold, Citrus and Butterscotch. I also curled some of the ends of the leaves.  The "FALL" is chip board I found in my save everything box. Ribbon was named "Autumn Inspirations" perfect for this bag. I am such a hoarder for scrapbook and card supplies. Think that is about it except I did distress the edges of the background paper with a "Heidi Snapp" tool and used Tim's peeled paint stain the color the  edges.

Hope you like.

Snow Man/Flakes

Wow what a beautiful week this has been - I was on a "honey do" vacation and I accomplished a few things I wanted to do. While working I found the attached card I had created and thought I would share it.  This is from the Sizzix "Big Die" for the Snowman Card -

I used a dark blue card stock that had white sprinkles in it - used several different wood mounted snow flakes and flourished most of them were "Inkadinkado" stamps.
I embossed them with "Sea Foam" embossing powder from Ranger. I also cut a small circle in the upper left had corner and used clear acetate for a different effect.
The inside of the card is a pop up snowman - and I used a scrap winter paper to border the bottom of the card.  What is really great about this die is that you can change the snowman into many different things,
a baby chick, bear, sheep. It is totally cool.

Challenge 5 -Bag

I must say I really didn't want to do this challenge -I don't like doing projects, they take me way out of my box,  and knew I really didn't have all the products  and a million other reason.  So when I started checking out my supplies-I put my mind to work and the following is what happened? Again terrible color on this computer, or camera but don't hold that against me.

May supply list is:  A craft paper bag like Selma's and the Craft card stock as well.
Bazzil Card stock in a light and dark purple, green, orange, yellow, brown
Graphic 45 "The Magic of Oz" Collection  and vellum
Dies:        Cheery Lynn "D136 Large leaves#2"
Tim Holtz "Autumn Gatherings", and "The Branch Tree"
                Sizzix - "Pumpkin" and "Jack-O-Lantern"

Punches: Martha Stewart - "Branch" and "Dripping Paint"

Inks:  Tim Holtz - "Distress Inks" - Peeled Paint, Brushed Corduroy, Aged Mahogany, Scattered Straw and                                                      Vintage Photo

Stickles:  Purple, Lime green, crystal

Ribbon: "By the spool" - Glitter Purple - "BOO" Chip Board covered wth "Peel & Stock adhesive then in "Purple Dust" Glitter by "Sprinkle N Sparkle"

Special tools:  Tim Holtz blending tool for the distressed inks, and a crimper for the tree, Quick Kutz (Ghosts), and Martha Stewart ribbon scissors.

The back ground is the spider web side from the 8 x 8 Oz collection - purchased at Joans Gardens,  the witch is from the same pad. I cut an oval in the web cut the center in frayed it out on the front, adding the witch oval as the back ground (stickles) added to witch hat, hair, shoes.
A view from the top - love the Cheery Lynn Leaves and this boarder made things a littler spookier, dripping paint, and a glittery purple "BOO" to scare you. Don't forget I pop dot most everything.

Love Tim's Branch tree use it as often as I can -and the small leaves from the "Autumn Gathering" die - so cool.
This was a fun project to create so thank you Joan and Selma for taking me out of my box.

Fun Card

In my busy schedule I had to rush but wanted to do something quick and fun -and this is what I came up with:

My friend Lori gave me a stamp that she didn't like by stampabilities and I thought I would use part of it-the leaping deer - it has been stamped "Archival -Black" then embossed with Sprinkle N Sparkle embossing powder "Oriental Fire" - the the "Berry red, snow white" stamp by Penny Black (From Joans Gardern), is the background embossed in a white embossing powder and then colored with glitter pens. The tree on the left is from Tim Holtz-"Branch Tree", and the snow is from Marvy - "Snow Marker" pen. You may not be able to tell in the picture but it is puffy for depth.  I used Stickles "Crystal" glitter to do the stars on the blue card stock. Of course Pop Dots for Tree, Deer and Oval frame which is a piece left after cutting the "Emperor Swan" die from Cheery Lynn, it makes a perfect frame for later use, and the snowflake brads are from my stach.

Challenge 4

Wow - Really loved this challenge - I broke not one but three boarder punches trying to do this card, but I finally came up with a very, Nature, Layered, Glittered, and Boarder card ! Are you ready:

Hopefully you can see where I embossed all sides of my Burnt Orange Bazzil  6 X 6  card with a Cuttlebug boarder "Fall Flourish" folder.  I then added a boarder of fall leaves cut from an EK boarder punch and they were punched from a copper pre glittered card stock.
Pictures do not do this card justice - I have got to get my computer adjusted:

I then cut the oval frame from Cheery Lynn Dollie DL120 Emperor Swan- Used white card stock and then glittered the whole thing with "Art Glitter" Duck Tail color (adhesive: Zig) The inside oval is embossed with "Cuttlebug" embossing folder "Pumpkin and vines) with "Art Glitter" Pistachio color on the edge.  I used the same Pistachio glitter on the Flourish "Cheery Lynn B127 "Tropical Flourish". Sun flowers are made using Cheery Lynn DL 121 Sunflower die with Lemon yellow glitter. The adorable butterfly is again Cheery Lynn Small lace faerie queen w/angle wings DL161, both pieces were embossed using Sprinkle N Sparkle embossing powder -wings (Marquis Orange and the Lace part in Ranger -Black). Sentiment is embossed with Sprinkle N Sparkle Oriental Fire on one of the Spellbinders #7 templates.
This angle is to show how much I also love pop dots  -If you lover sparkle and layers this card is for you.
